  • Creating Property Management User for a single property and limited access

    By Priyank Desai - 02.08.25 1

I have multiple properties and am looking to add a user for a given property for property management. They should be able to create maintenance, trace payment etc, but not have access to the full account and all the properties. How do I do that?

    Hi Priyank!

With TurboTenant’s new Access Management feature, you can invite a secondary user called an Admin to help manage your properties. Currently in beta, Admins will have identical access to your account, meaning they can perform almost the same actions as you, the primary user. This includes tasks like managing maintenance requests, handling rent payments, and communicating with tenants.

Here’s how you can add an Admin to your account:

    1. Log in to your TurboTenant account.
    2. Navigate to the “Account > Settings” tab on the left-hand side.
    3. Scroll down and click “Add additional users,” then enter the email of the person you’d like to invite.
    4. Click “Add User” to send the invitation. Once they accept, they’ll have the same level of access to your account.

It’s important to note that while Admins can manage your properties, they currently do not have customizable permissions, so they will have full access to all areas of your account, except for changing the account owner’s name, email, phone number, or password. Future updates will allow you to customize permissions for different users, so you’ll be able to limit access as needed.

If you’re looking for more granular control right now, we suggest keeping an eye out for updates to this feature in the future!
