    Hello everyone!

My wife and I live in California, but invest in Pittsburgh, PA. We have 11 long term rentals in that market. I look forward to connecting with people and if I can be a resource for you as you build your portfolio, please reach out! I love talking REI with people!

    Welcome, Jesse!

How did you come to invest on the opposite coast? Seems like you have a good system in place, with that many rentals in Pittsburgh.

Such a small world! Hi Jesse, another Jesse here. I too am an out-of-state investor focusing on Pittsburgh, PA. I’m based out of Portland Oregon. Would love to connect!

Hi Jesse! It’s great to meet you. I live in California too, but my rental property is in Virginia. I’m in the process of learning more about building my portfolio and would love to hear any tips you have for managing rentals remotely. Looking forward to connecting and learning from your experience. I’ve been a landlord for 2 years and on my third set of tenants. The current ones have been amazing! but the 2 former tenants not so much. I definitely have some tenant horror stories to share.

I am in California and have properties in Ohio. It is good to meet you all. I wanted to know what you felt are the most critical things you needed to do. Here is my list:

    1. A good lawyer

    2. A good local manager or maintenance guy who can offer a la carte services, such as posting a 3 day notice and appearing in court for you
